Here is a message from Gretchen Gates, Director of Communication for BACK ON MY FEET. As you likely know, we invite BoMF to the Father's Day 8k each June. As a partner, we like to help them out as often as we can and whenever we can. See below...
Not running Ragnar Relay? You can still get involved and help a great charity without spending a penny! Back on My Feet is the official charity beneficiary of Ragnar Relay DC! Ragnar Relay is the 200ish mile relay race from Cumberland, MD to DC on September 23-24th. As the beneficiary, we receive $100 for each volunteer that signs up through us…and with a goal of 120 volunteers recruited, you can help us raise over $10,000! You can sign up in 3 easy steps:
1. click http://www.ragnarrelay.com/race/dc/volunteer_shifts/61 and create a login & Password
2. After selecting a shift, scroll to the bottom of the page to select the team “0, BoMF Volunteer Team (Team Captain: G Gates)” from the drop-down box
3. Check the box to accept the ‘Terms and Conditions' then click on “Register for a Shift"
Thank you.

I volunteered for a team last year at the finish line and it was a good time, so I recommend it. I'd do it again this year, but it's the day before the Great Race, so I'll be out of town.
