I never had recovery days and it really killed me. I do not think I have recovered since I did the National Marathon, the GW10-miler, The Boston Marathon and the Cherry Blossom, all in a 2 month period. Lesson is.........don't be dumb.

peace outMAXhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09394290912307873690noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1823626532533196485.post-54545388471820572692008-01-30T12:27:00.000-05:002008-01-30T12:27:00.000-05:00I don't think it's wise to run two hard days in a ...I don't think it's wise to run two hard days in a row, which is why I'll probably make Sunday's run long and easy/moderate. So, it'll be more like Saturday hard, Sunday moderate, Monday recovery.

That being said, I'm the same idiot who ran workouts 3 of 4 days just two weeks ago. I paid for it--it took me three days to recover from that.PRhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09130279953377063597noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1823626532533196485.post-14788995504408134632008-01-30T11:31:00.000-05:002008-01-30T11:31:00.000-05:00I don't like to run hard two days in a row...but i...I don't like to run hard two days in a row...but it depends how hard/far you go and what you've got planned on the third day...and fourth day.KLIMhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12015334597223017162noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1823626532533196485.post-67460733705609347012008-01-30T11:19:00.000-05:002008-01-30T11:19:00.000-05:00do you guys think it is wise to run hard too days ...do you guys think it is wise to run hard too days in a row?MAXhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09394290912307873690noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1823626532533196485.post-79650064179555169132008-01-30T10:59:00.000-05:002008-01-30T10:59:00.000-05:00I lived in College Park for years and never ran th...I lived in College Park for years and never ran there - I think I had heard of it/seen the sign or something. I didn't even know that's where it was. Looks like a nice little venue. In the Dan Rincon days all our workouts were done on the President's Lawn or the golf course.RMhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01079220291482067777noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1823626532533196485.post-51718204696367521942008-01-30T09:26:00.000-05:002008-01-30T09:26:00.000-05:00Dale. You're slightly in the middle of the park... you could loop down to the "mall" (monumnets)from the park.

I would just explore. its hard to explain the trails.havegoatshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01496588855349154092noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1823626532533196485.post-63281501047188910902008-01-29T23:08:00.000-05:002008-01-29T23:08:00.000-05:00I'm coming to DC for a conference March 6-9 and ne...I'm coming to DC for a conference March 6-9 and need to do an 18 mile run on that Saturday as part of my marathon training.
