Went out yesterday with Ben and a couple of fellas on the canal. Did one mile repeats with a young lad from GW. 4 miles at 5:40 pace. Not bad but the hamstring tightened up after and I needed to walk. Interesting, i can go all out with no pain but when i stop and try to jog, the leg tightens up. Any advice from the choir?

My advice - stop doing workouts and races. Get healthy (can't help you exactly here) and start training once you are 100%...or at least 90%. It's hard to run well when you have to worry about your leg tightening every week. It seems like time off and some cross training might help.
