Max is running early and Allen won't be around, but I plan to meet at the DC/MD line at Rock Creek Park at 0900 for an easy run. I have a bad sinus infection and haven't been running but I should be good to go on Saturday. Therefor, I am only running around 6-7 miles and don't want to make the trek to the store. If anyone wants to meet, simply reply in comments. Again, I won't be running fast/long but will do my best to make jokes etc.
If there is an interest in meeting at the store, someone should start a post.
Hey Jake,
ReplyDeletePeter Silverman here, did the internship at Atlantic Video last summer. I'd like to come out for the run. Do you meet in one of the parking lots next to beach drive near the DC/MD line?
I will not be joining you but can vouch for your joke-telling ability.
ReplyDeletei have promised to meet Susanna and Julie early(7am) if anyone needs to do a 90 minute run starting at pierce mill give me a shout at max.lockwood@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteHi Peter.
ReplyDeleteWe meet at the parking lot right on the line. It's on the left hand side as you drive north to south...right where the RCP Trail empties. Basically drive as far south on beach drive (going south) as you can until you hit the yellow gate (that they close on the weekends).
Okay, I know where that is.
ReplyDeleteRunning with Jake is fun. We have a great time. The stories we tell. Oh and don't forget about the jokes. The jokes! We just laugh and laugh. (Sigh) Anyways, I don't think I will make the trek up to the line this weekend. But now I am confused. I got one of those meetup reminders for a run at 8:15 at the store. It sounds like nobody on this blog will be in attendance on that run, right? Even Allen? I am hard pressed to believe that Allen is not participating in a run posted on meetup. Say it ain't so. I'm thinking that I might just get up when I get up and do my own thing Saturday.
ReplyDeleteWhat kind of pace are y'all planning on running?
ReplyDeletejennifer, welcome aboard. I assume they are running easy as Jake is recovering from an injury. Jake?
ReplyDelete6:30-7:00 pace for 7 miles is what I plan on doing. A few hills in there too.
ReplyDeletescott, if you are able, meet us at pierce mill at 7am. i know it is early but you need to get serious and get into shape.
