Weekend Runs

I'm not running on Saturday...rather racing a 5K.

I do plan to run 15ish on Sunday at Riley's Lock. If anyone is interested in meeting late morning (circa 10am)let me know. The route is designed in a way that those running can run 10-12 instead of 15. Two-thirds of the run is on trails/towpath, the remaining bit will be on some rolling roads.

  1. I'll join you. Anyone else headed out to Riley's from DC want to carpool?

Another question. How do I become a contributor to the blog? I'm currently only able to respond to posts, not create new ones.

  3. I will be at the store at 7:35 watching the trials but not running on saturday morning. If anybody needs a place to meet or change on saturday, the store will be open.

  5. Give me a few weeks and I'll be up for some running with you guys again. It looks like my stress fracture has healed up.

After four weeks, my x-rays were clear on my foot on Wednesday, so the doctor gave me the OK to start gradually running again. Good news!

  6. $teve - I am sure Max is up for an easy 15 after his marathon, maybe he can bring you...

If not, you can always metro to Grosvenor on the red line and I can drive you.

  7. Hey Jake, my email is dveditordc@gmail.com.

Also, could I take you up on the pickup at Grosvenor offer? What time should I be there? When you send me the invite email, I'll reply with my cell #. Thanks.

Also, in regards to Saturday, are any of the usual folks running from the store at 8:15am or are most of you delaying the run until the afternoon so you can watch the trials?

  9. I won't be making it out on a run tomorrow, but I may be joining you, Allen, at the store to watch the race. I hear the weather could be completely nasty. Can't wait!
