Since I am a loser, don't drink and have no firm plans for New Years, I may run the Kings Street Mile in Alexandria. I hear the course is fast. I might hang around in Old Town after the race.

I may run the 1600/3200 double one day as a workout.
Dates - 1/13, 1/27, 2/3
I was thinking the same thing (if the hammy is feeling up to anything faster than 5:30 pace). I just started up after taking some days off... I will be starting quality days in 4 weeks the 27th i was looking into... i ran the feb meet last year and the lack of competition causes for a lot of lapping (even in mile)... it was frustrating running in lane 3 on an indoor track for the last 300 meters... for workout purposes it don't matter... it would be nice to get some decent runners to come out and maybe make an entire heat out of it (race director said last year thats what has happened in years past when fast times have been run at these things... something to think about
I might do the King St race. I did a road mile this past summer and it was a good time.
A few of our guys are going to head down to the PG meets, so if you ever want to combine for some relays, let us know! ~ Ryan
Count me in for both.
klim, have you really quit drinking?
Oh yes I too will be doing the King St mile. I figure it's only a 3rd of my usual training runs of 3 miles right now so I am more than prepared and should do really well, right? I'm going out in 2:20 and see what happens. LT is running with me so my real goal should be to beat her.
Dave, I don't think this team supports domestic violence. Save the beating her for your own home.
