I delayed the meeting until the next weekend b/c of the Richmond Marathon and put the new meeting date on the GRC calendar. So JARRIN better come! Either way, it's likely impossible to get EVERYONE together on a Saturday. I will send a "reminder" post out about the Team Meeting (on 11/21) next week. I printed a 2010 Calendar so that we can strategize about races - National, Cherry Blossom, Boston, Broad Street come to mind first.
I might be game for a "single" ferry on Sunday...plus some extra. Though, that place has a rep for being very muddy after a few days of rain. Either way, I should be game.
Long, boring story ... til the next run. Nov. 21 I will be in philly, but I can put in my input before the next meeting. I know I am definitely in for National and Cherry ...
PMurph, what 5k are you doing? I'm kind of hijacking this post but does any one have suggestions for competitive 5k or 8ks from this weekend through the end of November?
Mr. Fox, northern Virginia regional park will probably be less muddy than Duel Ferries, if you are interested.
Peter - I'm doing the Multiple Myloma Research Foundation 5K in Alexandria (same place as GW Bday 10K). I doubt it's going to be competitive though. Pre-registration is closed but you can register the day of.
PM Ditto what DM said, I have work in Baltimore on Friday, so I figure I will just drive on up to Philly that afternoon.
As for the goals meeting I am missing, my Spring race will be Boston, so I will likely be looking for a good 10m and half marathon race in february/march to get ready.
There was also talk of a team goals session that day. Do we want to postpone that? I am moving (again) on Saturday to SE, so I am out, unfortunately.
ReplyDeleteHow come you move every 3 weeks?
ReplyDeleteWhat did you have in mind for Sunday?

Will be at the store on Saturday. Klim, still need uni if I am going to rep the GRC at Vets Day 10k, that would be a good time to do a handoff.
ReplyDeleteI'm going to be at Derwood for an XC meet on Saturday but I'd like to do dueling ferries on Sunday.
