TIME TO GET SERIOUS

OK---TIME TO THROW DOWN THE HAMMER AND DO A HARD LONG RUN. MATIAS, LUKE, WHOEVER IS RUNNING BOSTON OR NATIONAL, ITS TIME TO GO FOR SOME PUNISHMENT.
I KNOW THERE WAS A TENTATIVE PLAN TO DRIVE OUT A WAYS FOR A LONG ONE TOMORROW. DUE TO THE FACT THE WEATHER MIGHT BE OFF, I SUGGEST A SIMPLE BUT TOUGH 17-18 MILER ON C&O. JUST KEEP IT A PLAIN OUT AND BACK. START SLOW AND WORK UP TO 6:20 PACE AND THEN THROW SOME SURGES IN TO SEE WHAT'S IN THE TANK IN THE LATTER MILES. YOU GUYS SHOULD BE IN PRIMO SHAPE AND READY. I AM OLD AND RECOVERING BUT WILLING TO SEE WHATS GOING ON. WHAT UP? 9:00AM AT THE G-TOWN STORE?-----------------------M

  2. weather.com says freezing rain will start at 3 a.m. By 9 a.m. the temp will be 33, all showers. Depending on conditions tomorrow morning, I may want to hold off and run when there's a break in the rain. Getting through a tough long run in the early morning through a wintry mess sounds like a bad ass workout, but I don't want to get sick as a result. Jake/Max, I have both your numbers. I'll call each of you at 8 to let you know if I'm coming out or waiting until 2 p.m. If anybody else is planning on coming, post your number

  4. I plan on waking up circa 7:30am to see how I feel. The two martinis I had this evening seem to be working. I am leaning towards showing up.
