Haha, not quite! I arrived at a rest stop at 19/20 miles in the lead. After an unfortunate series of wrong turns and cramps caused by dehydration, I practically crawled the last 4 miles home in 11th place. Dane ran very well though! I learned a lot of lessons from him which I’ll apply to my training for the JFK 50-miler in November.
Nice job guys.
ReplyDeleteI read that Luke won...that's ridiculous. Great job! A week ago he ran a 4:32 mile...nice range!

ReplyDeleteWhoops, I must have misread Dane's report. Good job nonetheless...quite an accomplishment.
ReplyDeleteThe lead changed often as all of us in the top 6 (until mile 25 or so) made inopportune course deviations.
ReplyDeleteVery impressive! Congrats!
