MARINE CORPS

I think I am going to give the Marine Corps Marathon a whirl. I would appreciate all the support, love, encouragement, blah, blah, blah, folks can provide. Even Old Man Ernst yelling profanities at me will be a welcome sight. The more smiling faces, the better_________M

  1. Blah, blah, blah...saying that is the first sign of old age and running slower....Max, I will be there cheering you on and I'll have a towel to help you clean up the spittle running down your chin...

  3. I need to get a long run in...anyone want to run part of the course.

Max - you need any "help" out on the course?

  4. yea, you guys would be a great help. susanna has offered to run with me at Haines point. anywhere from there to the end would be awsome! Just make sure you do not get aprehended by Navy seals, marines, etc.

  5. I wouldn't mind a little assistance in the latter miles too if anyone is offering.

I'd ask Melissa but she just found out a week ago it was me not Dean K who did 52 marathons in 2006. I feel the love!

  7. Max Locknessmonsterwoodeater - I will be at mile 21 along with Matt Damon and your high school sweetheart, one-eyed Jessica.

Danesaurus rex - good luck out there, your legs are 10x hairier than Dean's. This is a good thing.

I'm doing my last ultra-long-50milerace-prep-run/jog/walk tomorrow so will not be in a condition to run alongside either of you Sunday. I do have a megaphone though and it even plays fight songs!
