WORLD CUP FINAL!!

Hi all,

as you may have noticed: the NETHERLANDS MADE THE WORLD CUP FINAL!!! So, since this is very unique for such a small country, I want to make sure to do something at the final Sunday: either at my place or at a bar somewhere. What are your thoughts/ preferences and would you join in the celebration of Holland beating those Germans/ Spaniards?!!

    I'm glad you're getting this going Dirk! I'll be there wearing Orange.

    If we decide to go to a bar, select one today or tomorrow and call ahead to see if they're taking reservations. Union Jack's in Bethesda takes reservations.

    I like the way the Dutch play. Their combination of accurate(and quick!) passing as well as aggressive running to the ball is awesome. I'm rooting for them as well!

    I can't make it; I am leaving for a wedding after the Saturday run. I will be rooting for Holland now that Germany is done. Spain is going down!

    I'm not sure if they're picky, but the number of chairs you get is the number you ask for. We can always squeeze in if we have to.

    As I recall, the tables at UJ were only partially filled when we arrived for the USA-Ghana match. It's worth checking though.

    Reservation is made for 2 pm at Union Jack's under my name. ANYONE IS WELCOME TO JOIN US, but if you are rooting for Spain, get ready to be made fun off (and lose) ;)
