by 15:45 did he really mean, 15:00's and 4:50 miles?
Damn Dirk! That's awesome! What have you been doing huffing it in the back of the track workouts with us?
You know Pmurph, this summer has been rough running, I was struggling with the humidity lately. But, I am usually tired from swim/bike workouts & work by the time I get to the track, so even if workout times have been a bit slower, when I rest up a bit for a race I feel all the training pays off.
Honestly though, course is downhill first half. The race was fun with all the PACER guys though! I gave them a scare, but couldn't sprint on the uphill finish.
I loved it when Dirk told me about his 15:45 "goal" and that he wasn't in the best shape for it... and I had to remind him that's my PR! Bastard!
BEASTARD!
