PHOTO - GRCers Andy Sovonick (The Chicken Tender Runner) and Chris Bain (right) shake hands in a staged photo shortly after Chris Bain was awarded "Runner of the Year" by the Montgomery County Road Runners Club. Sovonick and Bain were in a tight race for the coveted honor. Bain's 2:31:03 marathon in Korea last April (5 days after running a 2:36 at Boston) was a major factor in his win. Meanwhile back closer to home, CTR sliced minutes off his 5k, 8k and 10k personal bests throughout the year. Look for CTR to crush PRs throughout 2010. Nice to see two of our crew leading the way.
