MIGHTY BERT GOES DOWN

I see Jerry beat Mighty Bert by one second at a race. Allen Carr, who ran very well years ago and now works for Pacers, seems to be coming back after years and years of drinking beer and discovering the city life.

Looks like Pacers is putting together a big team though.

someone should stage a showdown just like Showdown at the OK corral. What about Showdown at Haines Point? Towpath can make a movie and Jake can play Wyatt Earp.

I am predicting that God and Ryan Hall will work together to win Boston.

Peace out

Pacers are quality guys. I spoke with a few post race as well as jordan mcdougal. Kids just like running. Bert also had some good words sent via text later on. Max don't you owe me shoes for outkicking bert? Or is that an old promise?

Ain't nothin quality about Bert or the Pacers. Let's beat 'em everywhere we can: in Maryland, in the District and in Viginny. let's beat 'em all.

Oh, and Outlaw, fantastic race. Great barrier to break...and a PR I think too?

I'm pretty surprised by those times. That is not an easy course.

Jake, Jake, Jake, that's not very nice. I'm not surprised that you need to send in the younger stronger troops to do your dirty work for ya. Next time send more than one so we can at least compare what the team scores would have been.
2. Devar
4. Rodriguez
5. Foster (Just making it back)
6. Carr (Sporting Pacers Gear!)
8. Wade

Whoa, 2 through 8 is pretty good. Five guys under 15:50. And they have a 17 race series. Max - Get on it their web site and series looks sharp. And a Dash for Dad. The Farley Family is kicking yo butt.

Max,
the pacers are the reason why the running company will never be the premier running store, in order to get your name out you must host races a race team only does so much, the pacers host i swear every race in the dc metro area from middle school xc to masters track and field to road races and they put on a top notch race. If GRC wants to be profitable get it together and put on more than a measley cheap fathers day 8k that you ask the race team to put on, use some investment get your race equipment and plan races in all areas that your 13 stores exist. And choose a better location to put your stores, Willard Ave.??? does anybody even know where that store is. M street must be popular as it is a great location, but how many more of your stores are like this.

"...and they put on a top notch race"

Unfortunately they don't know how to mark a course. Let's see if they can screw up the President's Day 10.8K yet another year. Oh wait, they changed the course. It runs up and back along Eisenhower. Looks like they are learning from their mistakes.

The best was when Insane in the Membrane Crane accidentally posted an anonymous comment... but was logged in. So he deletes it and post the same comment as anonymous. What a douche. Thank goodness the Pacers got rid of that dirtbag.

I don't know who anonymous is, but he actually brings up a good point or two, as do you. That being said, I don't want to start WW3 with the PACERS in an internet forum. At the end of the day, we NEED (and I for one, respect) Pacers, as they make the game more competitive and bring the best out of us. The Outlaw would have run 15:01 without the Pacers there on Saturday, and who wants to run 15:01 when you can run 14:58! Imagine the Red Sox without the Yankees...

Oh, and Bert...go kill a kitten or something.

Jake...I can't help but think that the 15:01 comment was directed at me. Of course I wanted to break 15. But had Gerald not been there I might have run 15:10!!! So using your rationale 15:01 is much better than 15:10.
When are we playing Risk? I'm going to make you wish you never set foot in Kamchatka!

By the way, what's up with the Red Sox payroll this year? I thought they were the "little guys" vs the "evil empire." Bogus.

by the way.. I love seeing "anonymous" anywhere. It reminds me of that curb episode when Larry gets pissed at Ted for telling people he's "Anonymous"

"I don't want to start WW3 with the PACERS in an internet forum." -RF

We shall go on to the end, we shall race in Virginia, we shall race in the District and Maryland, we shall race with growing confidence and growing strength in our legs, we shall defend our team, whatever the cost may be, we shall race on the trails, we shall race on the city streets, we shall race in the fields and on the tracks, we shall race in the hills; we shall never surrender.

Bert - No, I was saying the same thing as you. If you were not there, Outlaw would have been much slower. If the Outlaw wasn't there, you would also have run slower...and it's not simply another BODY near you in the race, it's who is wearing the singlet. Hence why we "need" each other to attack the greater enemy - the clock.

I will also not play the "Asian Game" in Risk. It's far too...risky. Ask Dwyer how I play. I made him weep.

Asian Game?

I just wanted to let you know that I am still in max drinking mode. Also, I wanted to point out that anonymous is most likely bitter considering his/her post came on valentines day around dinner time....

KLIM said...

Yea, trying to take over Asia in RISK is a loserville move.
