Thanks. I have a race report coming but in short, we went out a tad slow (70 at 400m) with me sitting in 3rd/4th, Karl bolted to the lead shortly thereafter and herocically started the race. We then hit a couple of 33-34s. A bunch of guys went with Karl - some stayed and some died. I picked up the dead and dying but couldn't catch bert. Karl did the lion's share of the work, but an AU kid and a PACER kicked like hell in the last 300m.

PR led a mile of his heat when the pace died and he looked damn good until about 300m to go. Masters runner Andrew Duncan from Bethesda, who might show up for the Wed w/os and continued to turn heads and set PBs, ran away from the field.

Video will be posted soon

Yep, nice times. Nothing like crushing the college punks. That Duncan guy is not human!!!

Hey guys, nice video! P.S.1. Karl did ALL the work- in a good race he'll be sub 8.20 soon. P.S.2. The heat winner from American definitely did not run 8.26.1, maybe 8.29.5 or so!

Hey guys, don't know if you all remember me but I just want to say that this is looking good! It's tough to start racing indoor and usually everybody needs a few races to run good and fast! I like to see sub 8.20 soon!
Good luck with training and races!

P.s. Make Dirk work!

Thanks Dirk. You're right, only 2-3 seconds seperate him and me, for sure not the 5+ reported in the results. Interesting.
