Tomorrow's run is named after Wilson for the very reason that he introduced me to it. Total pain and misery. After each of these, Wison would praise god for allowing us to survive to run another day. I say we try it tomorrow. It consists of 2 mile warm up and then 10X3 minutes on 1 off, 2 minutes on, 1 off and 1 minute on and 1 off and over and over. basically 90 minutes of hell. after though, the endorphins are chirping and you want to go home and drink and beer and think about pleasant things.
Also, is cooke coming out with us? someone told me he recently ran 2 hrs and survived. c'mon cooke. you are achieving enigma status. on every run people say "ben once ran such and such a time" I think to myself, this is true but it was light years ago. Will the real ben come out and play_______M

Max I am getting ready for this workout. But I am not going to be able to make the big jump to 10 repeats yet. My long run is sitting at a whopping 70 minutes, so I can't pull a 2 hour (counting 2 mile warmup and 2 mile cooldown) workout just yet. I'm thinking that you are looking at at least 18 miles for today and I am clearly not ready for that. I am going to have to modify it just a little so I don't kill myself. I am thinking that I can do the 2 mile warmup, then go out for 3 and back for 4 and then a half mile cooldown should get me back to the start. That should give me 15 minutes of warmup, 63 minutes of the workout, and a 3-4 minute cooldown. That is about my limit at this point. That will be 80 or so minutes for me which I can do. Is there any way that I can convince you to go out 3 repeats, back 3 repeats, then turn around and go out 2 and back 2. Thus I would be with you for 6 of them.
spoken like a true actuary. of course. i was mereley trying to rev up the troops. Back in the day, during this run, guys would be dying and more or less, the whole run became a "who can survive" affair. good training if you want to join the marines or something similar. see ya at 6ish. M
Hey I love that idea. I wish Wilson, Chris, and others could make it out. In a few months I should be able to handle that volume. You've been on a "make sure you have a training plan" kick lately, so I was just making sure you knew I had a training plan.
This was a tough one. The last 2 sets (of 6) were tough. Glad to be out doing more than just running...
