What do you guys think of the revised National Marathon course: http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=760530 Is the hill from Rock Creek up to Calvert better or worse than the hill up 18th Street at mile 19?
i would much rather run through the morgan with cheering crowds and such than up calvert. that hill is killer. everyone is going to die going up, especially if they are really moving. its going to force even the best runners to say hello and take it easy.
I was looking forward to the climb through Adams Morgan, but the Calvert Climb is pretty brutal. Don't want to go in the red up the hill. It's short, so probably a good idea to take it easy, keep the heart rate in check.

I'd say tougher than the original course.
