THE PEEK: The Next Big Race...

It seems like the PIKE'S PEEK 10K in Rockville will be the next big race where GRC will be running as a team. The race will be on April 29th. I have never run it, but I hear it is super fast...a "PR course."

MEN: Matias, Jason, Christiam and Jake. I am also trying to get "freshman" Joe Wiegner to run.
I heard that DaveO is in a wheelchair (just kidding but I know racing isn't in Dave's immediate future) and Max will be in one soon. Steve Money? Luke? Scott? Ben? Kyle?...any interest?

WOMEN: Melissa...any other takers?

The top 12 receive money - $600, 400, 300, 150 (4-5) and 100 (6-12)...klim to get a percentage

I am waiting to hear if I get into the Olympic Development Mile at Penn Relays... It is going to be a long shot to get in without a fast 1500 time for this year... so if i don't get in... I am in for pikes peak

Hey everybody, My name is Holly Bofinger, I am Joe Wiegner's fiance. I noticed that there are several women runners that are involved with the Georgetown running co. and I am looking for people to train with in the area. I ran through college at Lock haven university. mainly concentrated on the 10k but am now doing marathon training. I ran the shamrock in Va beach but didn't prepare too much for it (3:36) I am looking to run philly in the fall and get down around 3 hours with some quality base miles (and some girls to train with :) ) I will come over to the store with joe one of these days when he heads down...
Look forward to meeting you all
Holly

Holly et al,

We'll probably meet up NEXT Saturday and continue our normal Saturday run schedule.

Is anyone meeting this saturday? Where?

I'd like to meet this Saturday. Anyone else in? Won't be able to run Pikes Peek. I'll be travelling for work. Thinking of running a 15k that day, though. I'll take the G-town club international.

Pike's Peek sounds like a solid race. While tempted, I am making myself take a couple weeks of downtime after Boston to re-charge the batteries. May be in for a run this saturday, keep me posted.

I'll get out there on the bike Sunday morning and snap some pictures... what is the team line-up for the race?

If I show up on Saturday, I'll probably run no more than 6 miles.
