Late Breaking News...Joe Wiegner got into Penn Relays...he'll be racing on Friday night...either the 1500 or the mile.
Obviously this means we are down a man for Pikes Peek. Joe will have to be beaten and tortured (spending quality time with Max Lockwood) for "abandoning" us, but I am sure it'll be worth it!
Good Luck Joe! There should be a GRC cheering session on hand.

excellent news. sorry i won't be there to watch (coming back after distance night).
I'm heading up tomorrow.... leaving around noon from DC and picking up a friend in friendship heights around 1 pm.

Matias- I'm still trying to square away a sub, but assuming I do get everything cleared- do you want to try to meet near the water pit during the steeples?

Is Max allowed to be alone with children? I don't know if I would want that if I was a parent.

Thanks everybody. Thats sweet that a bunch of you are coming out. The mile is on saturday afternoon though, not friday. So, hopefully there will still be people there... if not, thats cool too. Coverage begins at 1pm on ESPN... supposively, they are showing the OD Mile on tv.... Jee, that doesn't make me nervous !?!

Hey Wiggy, when are you heading back from Philly? Maybe the GRC crew can get together for some BBQ after Pike's Peak and talk about Penn Relays.
Any interest? My parents have a place in Gaithersburg we could use (they'll be out of town). Open to other meeting places if more convenient.
