I might be wrong but I believe Melissa is running the B&A Marathon this weekend. Its on Sunday. Its her last chance to make the trials. I would be willing to try and pace her. others?
Thanks, Max. Can I take a rain check? I'd love some pacers (not those Pacers). The B&A had been the tentative plan, but I had to scrap it. I started feeling tired/overtrained around the GW 10k. Then last week I got the flu and had to take three days off. Now I just feel weak. Everything had to go according to plan for me to have a chance. I'm still trying to get into the race to do the half (it closed before I had a chance to register), but will leave it at that and focus on Boston. Next time.
man, sorry to hear about this! somebody's been out to get the GRC folks? seems like your spirits are high, though, all things considered- great sign of mental focus and toughness!
Now that I think about it, I did see evil PACER Bert Rodriguez dumping some sort of chemical in the GRC water supply. I should have confronted him about it...since the bucket had a skull & cross bones on it.
