It'd be nice to run on some soft stuff and if things keep progressing they way they have, the towpath and area trails should be good for a run. I propose Riley's Lock at 9am.
If they're too muddy/snowy/crummy, we can always hit the roads around there. This proved to be good running last time.
Note to bikers/tri people - excellent biking out this way if you wanted to do a "double"
While commuting on Clara Barton pkwy this morning, I observed the towpath (south of Amer. Legion bridge) and can report that it is 90% clear of ice and snow.
I'm in for Sunday at Riley's. And for the record, as of last Saturday there were still large parts of the CCT that were well under snow cover. Totally ridiculous.

I might have to work Sunday because we have a sizable conference this weekend in Adams Morgan, but if not, I am up for 18 or so.
I ran at Riley's Lock yesterday towards poolesville and it was fine, some branches in the way but that's about it.

I will try to make Riley's Lock tomorrow, though 9am seems very early right now. If I don't show, don't wait for me.
