Sheena and I just booked a room at the Holiday Inn- Historic District for Saturday 9/20, the night before the Distance Run. We had to do a lot of searching to find a room for less than $200 within 2.5 miles of the start. This one was the best we could find at $159/night, ~2 miles away. Just thought I would send a heads-up. Party at our pool, pictured above, after the race.

I was just in Philadelphia this weekend and did a pub crawl with my college friend, his girfriend, sister and a bunch of her friends. We stayed at the Sheraton on 17th and Race (appropriately named). With four people in a two bed room, it's only about $60 per person, if of course, everyone is comfortable sharing a bed. Plus it's very close to the starting line. I'm just floating that idea out there.
I just got a room at the HIE too. Two beds for Bain and I.
Suggest others jump soon as rooms are likely to run out.
