Looking for around 20 miles... ideally averaging 6:30s pace. I have work at noon, and it usually takes me about an hour to make that transition (shower, food, cry in anticipation of working another day with zach, get myself together, bike in)
so, depending on where folks want are willing, I'd like to get started around 8ish.
I propose difficult run, the MD line, or the store (11 mile loop, glover to RCreek with extenstions)

Jason - I will join and hope to run a similar amount of mileage (18+). I'd prefer THE LINE or Difficult Run. I'm going to hit the store on Saturday.
I assume DifRun is simply an out-and-back heading right out of the parking lot?
Any good 20 mile loops from THE LINE? Maybe Zoo Loop (14.5) then head north to Gtown Branch section of the CCT and loop around and down Grubb...just thinking out loud.
I don't care to go 20, but I could do at least the Zoo loop with you guys.
I like the idea of starting 20 miles at 8am as opposed to 9. I got burnt last Sunday since we were still out there by 11am.
Rock Creek would be good for the shade and trails.
My new dilemma is that I will usually be doing speed work with some of my athletes on Mondays so I need to figure out a way to get the long run in without being utterly trashed the following day. I may have to start forcing my self to run at a pace close to 7 rather than 6:30.
cool, 8am at the line. we can do the 14.5 loop and then I wouldn't mind doing a walter reed extension of sorts... that used to be my bread and butter.it also means we can take in fuel at the 14.5 mark

By fuel, I hope you mean salt licks. That's all us MD Men do mid-run - lick salt licks.
It toughens us up!
I'm in for this one. I'm bring my jelly beans for fuel this time and I'll have some to share :)
I've got the new GUs... they retail for a dollar more than the other ones... so they must be magical.
