I SUPPOSE IF I HAD A REAL PICASSO OR TWO I WOULD BE RECESSION PROOF

Alas, it is not to be. None the less, Picasso is one of my favorites as noted via the image below. I suppose all I can say is stay away from Barney Frank, Nancy Pelosi, Rudy Guiliani, Bill bennet, Wolf Blitzer, Sarah Palin and any other person in media who pretends to shed light on the current economic condition that we face.

There are no plausible explanations nor solutions. Maybe I will go and start an artist commune in the mountains where people paint, eat organic food and run.

Towpath is leading the weekend runs this Columbus Day weekend as Klim is heading to NH and I am going to the Green Mountains. If you are doing runs and frolicking in the leaves have fun and live it to the fullest.

peace out

All very nice, but your painting is not a Picasso it is a Salvador Dali.

Maybe you dont even like Picasso after all...

"Un Chien Andalou" is a film made by Salvador Dali (and Luis Brunuel) in 1928. If you like Dali paintings you may want to give this a look. It is a dream-like direction-less surrealist film from the avant-garde movement. It's a lot of "fun". It's also a favorite of many film school professors.

If you want to see the "famous scene" that everyone talks about go to 1:30 in the video link below

You are now thinking "what could that scene be I wonder?" Click it...you know you want to.

The entire film is very cool and the score is slam dunk.

$10 to anyone who can figure out what it all means. Dali plays one of the priests.

Gotta love the surrealism/nihilism of "Un Chien Andalou."

I also like that Dali totally sold out and started selling chocolate: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xYWtAdBWtfg

Ten bucks to anyone who can grow a 'stache like that.

Yeah, this has nothing to do with running. So it goes.
