He ran 15:54, a new PR, this morning at Ellen's Run 5k. Congrats to Peter...I'm forgoing a nickname after embarrassing him yesterday by yelling "Watermelon!" in front of his high school xc team- sorry about that! Results here
Good show ol' chap. Sub 16 will soon be your split mid way through a 10k. Running as fast, for further distances will soon get easier and easier. You're smart and you have plenty of strength.
Races can make magical things happen like running a pace you're not used to running (4:52). Your legs seem to remember what racing is all about and they're able to "click" into gear.
Did you talk to the winner about GRC by any chance? I've noticed his times coming down as well.

Thanks! It was one of my best raced races ever. A long race report is available on my running blog which I have added on the sidebar.

Thanks,
Yeah, Max and I were talking with the #1 & #3 guys and they seemed interested.
Great run Peter! I'm sure you'll run much faster later this fall.
